Today, Elon Musk announce that the price of Full Self Driving (FSD) would raise from $12,000 to $15,000. That an increase of 20%. While not personally owning a Telsa, I can’t fully determine if that is reasonable or not. However, it doesn’t look like it is.
The next version of the software is designated FSD Beta 10.69. So, that beta designation means just what you think it means. This isn’t proven software. On top of paying a premium for this electric vehicle, you have to pay a premium to purchase Full Self Driving as a beta.
I no longer put beta software of my personal laptop. Why would I want to put beta software of a vehicle that carries precious cargo.
